Brady Miller broke loose for a 33-yard run, and five Trenton defenders recorded tackles for loss during the Bulldogs’ trip to Brookfield on Friday, Sept. 18.

Trenton fell 42-0 in the Grand River Conference matchup, moving to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Miller led Trenton’s rushing attack with 61 yards on 14 carries. In addition to his 33-yard gain, he picked up 11 yards on two other runs.

Camden Skipper contributed 30 yards on 13 carries, while Dru Vandevender added 22 yards on six attempts. Skipper also connected with Jacob White for a 23-yard completion.

The Bulldogs finished with 113 rushing yards and 23 passing yards for 136 yards of total offense.

Jace McCall paced Trenton’s defense with five tackles, including two solo stops and three assists. He also recorded one tackle for loss.

Jackson Bethards made three solo tackles, including two behind the line of scrimmage. Vandevender, Bentley Lawrence and Asa Tuiaki joined McCall in recording one tackle for loss apiece.

Vandevender and Sam Ledbetter each finished with four tackles. Vandevender had three solo stops and one assist, while Ledbetter recorded two solo tackles and two assists.

Kolt Mathews, Lawrence and Tuiaki each contributed three tackles. Mathews had two solo stops and one assist, while Lawrence and Tuiaki each had one solo tackle and two assists.

Henry Lasley, Kynsen Bain, Payton Baker and Kayden Foster each added a solo tackle. Matthew Kralicek and Chase Harris each recorded an assisted tackle.

The Bulldogs will have another opportunity to earn their first win when they return home to face South Harrison at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25.
