North Central Missouri College Board Approves Operational Updates, Hires Faculty

The North Central Missouri College Board of Trustees received a series of year-end updates and approved multiple measures affecting programs, personnel and operations during its regular meeting on May 26.

Trustees approved several items, including measures related to the Head Start program. The board approved the Green Hills Head Start Cost Allocation Plan for fiscal year 2027, as well as a Change of Scope request. The board also approved a renewal of Ellucian PowerCampus software and support services was approved and an agreement with PowerFAIDS software maintenance and support. A policy change was also approved related to permitted circumstances. The board declared a list of equipment from the Radiologic Technology Program as surplus property.

The board approved several personnel actions for the Head Start program. Among them were the employment of Carman Morin and Serenity Marsh as teacher aides in Trenton, and Jessica Gannon as a teacher, also in Trenton. Trustees also approved the resignations of Courtney Sizemore, Jessica Ryals, and Kelsey Cordray and recognized the retirement of Judy Morgan, a cook at the Bethany Head Start center.

For NCMC, Jessica Maye was hired as assistant women’s basketball coach and campus activities coordinator, and Jeremy Corr as women’s flag football coach and equipment and athletics assistant. Breann Weese was hired as a health science administrative specialist, and Megan Hines will join the faculty as a fine arts instructor and coordinator.

The board also approved the hiring of adjunct instructors Hayden Whitnah-Elifrits, William Puett, and Tasha Wyant.

Trustees also approved a revision to the job description for the men’s/women’s cross country and track & field coach.

The NCMC Board of Trustees next regular meeting will be on June 23.
