Pirates Cruise Against Quincy University JV

The NCMC Pirates, now 8-2 on the season, put together one of its most complete outings of the season on Sunday, overpowering Quincy University JV in a 116–58 victory marked by efficiency, unselfish play, and production up and down the roster.

The Pirates’ starters set the tone early. Camden Bennett delivered a game-high 19 points on an impressive 9-of-16 shooting while adding seven rebounds and five assists. Dillon Willis was nearly perfect from the field, also scoring 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting off the bench to keep NCMC rolling.

Grant Redd quarterbacked the offense with precision, posting a double-double of 13 points and a team-high 10 assists. Camden Brown added 10 points, six assists, and four rebounds in the game, helping the Pirates jump out quickly.

In the paint, James Porter III controlled the glass with a dominant 15 rebounds to go with 12 points for another Pirates double-double. Deng Gak was highly efficient as well, scoring 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting while grabbing six rebounds and recording three steals.

The Pirates’ depth continued the momentum. Talan Holt poured in 15 points, including three makes from beyond the arc, and Cole Johnson added seven points with a clean 3-for-4 shooting line. Za’Corrie Kerr battled on the boards for a 10-rebound performance, while Kalen Streit facilitated the offense with nine assists and five steals.
