School Board Approves Personnel Changes

The Trenton R-IX Board of Education approved several personnel changes during executive sessions held Aug. 5 and Aug. 12, including the resignation and replacement of the district’s varsity girls basketball coach.

During the Aug. 5 session, the board accepted the resignations of paraprofessionals Jessy White and Ashley McIntosh, along with varsity girls basketball coach Steve Richaman.

The board also approved three new hires at that meeting. Kim Foster and Darcie Taylor were hired as fourth-grade teachers, while Jennifer Mullins was hired as a paraprofessional.

Additional personnel action was taken during the Aug. 12 executive session. Samantha Boxley was hired as the Trenton High School varsity girls basketball coach. Tasha Wyant was approved as the Class of 2027 sponsor, and Sarah Pauley was hired as the THS Scholar Bowl sponsor.

The board also hired Aaron Pryor for part-time summer grounds work, Robin Burkeybile as Rissler kitchen manager and Isabelle Wilson as TMS/THS kitchen manager.

Forty substitutes were approved for August. They are Kelli Adams, Jeff Berti, Susan Burkey-Hill, Jane Cooksey, Barbara Cox, Tyann Cox, Dana Creason, Robert Deaver, Jesus Diaz, Angela Dugan, Janice Gates, Karen Glenn, Martha Goedert, Janet Gott, Kayla Graham, Marsha Hurst, Sonci Jones, Kaitlyn Keith, Tamara Leafgreen, Susan Leeper, Avery McCauslin, Cara McClellan, Krysta McCullough, McKaila Miller, Rebecca Mullins, Tammy Ockenfels, Chris Parks, Tonya Patridge, Finley Williams Pattison, Jordan Sahagun, Leola Sharp, Tanya Sheppard, Hannah Stark, Nathan Stark, Hannah Weaver, Kristi Weyer, Jessie White, Cathie Whitney, Karen Willis and Robin Wilson.
