Trenton Players Part Of All-Stars’ Perfect District Run

The Harrison County All-Stars 12U softball team completed an undefeated run through the Little League Missouri District 1 Tournament, earning a spot in the state tournament.
The team includes players from six teams across northwest Missouri, including Trenton players Rose Ortega, Harper Ferguson and Pyper Raines. Jordan Ferguson of Trenton is also among the team’s coaches.
Harrison County capped the district tournament with a 12-2 victory over LaCoMo East at Cargill Field in the Lyon Bowl at Indian Foothills Park in Marshall.
The All-Stars won all three of their tournament games, while LaCoMo East finished the four-team event with a 2-2 record.
Harrison County will next compete in the Little League Missouri State Tournament, scheduled for July 9-12 in the St. Louis area.
