College honor society inducts Basham

Cheri Basham of Cowgill was inducted into North Central Missouri College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during the spring 2026 semester.

Basham was formally recognized during the Phi Theta Kappa induction ceremony, held April 14. Since the start of the spring semester, 26 NCMC students, including Basham, have earned membership in the honor society.

Phi Theta Kappa is a national honor society for students attending two-year colleges. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in an accredited institution that offers an associate’s degree, complete at least 12 credit hours, maintain a GPA of 3.50 or higher, receive an invitation to join and meet the organization’s moral standards.
