Glenn wanted clarification on whether Zoom was open to the public. The public can attend city council meeting via zoom as long as their camera is on and they can identify themselves. The information to join should be on the Trenton website.
New Business
Bob Hutchinson recommends that the city purchase a new pump for the sewer plant. The reason is that the pump that is being used is a 2004 model and is worn out. The new pump would cost $31,026 which is similar to the price of fixing the existing pump.
The recommendation was passed.
Bob Hutchinson also brought up the issue of wage increases for employees at the sewer plant. Discussion was had but no motion was made, and the council chose to stick to the existing pay structure.
Adam Snuffer from Underground requested approval to list truck 19 on Purple Wave, a platform for selling city vehicles. The council discussed whether the car could be used in any other department and decided that they could sell the vehicle, provided no other department wanted the vehicle.
