Stigall brings U.S. House Campaign to Trenton
Chris Stigall, who seeks election to Missouri’s Sixth District seat in the U.S. House, brought his campaign to Trenton on Saturday, April 11.
“I thought that it was time to stop talking about our problems and start doing something about them,” said Stigall. “After a lot of prayerful consideration, I decided that now is that time to do that.”
Stigall is seeking the Republican nomination after U.S. Rep. Sam Graves announced his retirement last month. Graves has endorsed Stigall, who worked for him briefly.
“As I enter my next chapter, I am proud to pass the torch to the next generation. My friend, Chris Stigall, is the best suited to represent North Missouri in Congress. Chris was born and raised in Missouri’s Sixth District, where he and his wife, Christine, are raising their children today,” Graves said.
Stigall was born in Richmond in Ray County. He graduated from Oak Park High School in Clay County and Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. Stigall began hosting a talk radio show on KCMO 710 AM in 2006 and grew to become one a popular conservative voice. Most recently, he was nationally syndicated on Salem Radio Network, where he produced a daily show from Kearney.
“Donald Trump has been the most consequential president of my lifetime,” said Stigall. “I’ve supported him for three straight presidential elections. He needs fighters in Washington that have his back, and I will do that.”
Altogether, Stigall has lived in the Sixth Congressional District for 38 years. The Stigalls call Holt home today. He and his wife have three children.
More details about candidates running in upcoming elections will be published in future editions of the Telegraph and at TrentonTelegraph.com.
