North Central Missouri College Library Purchases Student Artwork

North Central Missouri College Library continues its tradition of celebrating student creativity by recently acquiring pieces of artwork from NCMC students. Newly purchased pieces include “The Sound of Music” by Emerson Bradley from Louisiana, Missouri, and “Des Roses Avec De La Lavende” by Emily Jennings from Browning.

Since 2003, the NCMC library has supported student artists by purchasing and displaying their work. Each selected piece is professionally framed, accompanied by a plaque recognizing the artist and showcased within the library for visitors to enjoy. The artwork is purchased from students enrolled in NCMC art courses.

“The tradition of acquiring student artwork has allowed the library to highlight remarkable talent while enriching our space with inspiring creations,” said Beth Caldarello, director of Library Services. “All are welcome to visit the NCMC Library to view student artwork and see how exceptionally gifted our students are.”
