Every year, Trenton High School hosts their Halloween carnival, inviting children and families from across the community to celebrate the holiday in a safe, welcoming, and educational setting.

This year’s event was no exception. Teachers, students, and staff donned creative costumes and set up a variety of activities and games, giving children the chance to compete for candy, toys, and even cash prizes.

Children eagerly dashed from table to table, laughing as they tossed hula hoops onto giant candy corns and tried their hand at pinning the mouth on a jack-o’-lantern. The gym was filled with excitement, and the festive decorations added to the cheerful atmosphere.

To cap off the evening, the school mascots hosted a much-anticipated costume contest. Judges selected the best-dressed participants from each grade, PreK through fourth, making it a memorable moment for everyone involved.

Participants were evaluated on creativity, originality, and, especially for the youngest contestants, overall cuteness.

The annual carnival continues to be a highlight for the community, bringing together students, teachers, and families for a night of safe, festive fun. Organizers hope the tradition inspires younger generations to participate in school activities and fosters a sense of belonging and excitement. As the event grows each year, it promises to remain a cherished part of the school’s Halloween celebrations.
