Last week, Pleasant View stayed active with events aimed at enriching the school’s students.

Miss Lilli Pontious’s preschool and Mrs. Adriane Todd’s kindergarten classes visited the Trenton Fire Dept & Grundy Co Ambulance. There the students got to learn firsthand from first responders, and saw what Fire and EMS do for the community.

The older kids got to listen to Coach Sloth present stories that he wrote for kids. Stories that shared how kids should pursue what they are good at and why bullying is bad. During the assembly students got to participate and act out one of the stories, and two of the kids who played roles in the performance received Sloths “magic” coloring book.
