The long-anticipated Grand Opening of the Dr. Neil & Susanne Nuttall Student Center at North Central Missouri College has been scheduled for noon on Monday, November 10, at 1205 Main Street, Trenton, MO. Fundraising for the Nuttall Student Center was a key component of the Transforming Lives, Empowering People major gifts campaign through the NCMC Foundation.
The Grand Opening celebration will feature a ribbon cutting and remarks from representatives of North Central Missouri College, the NCMC Foundation, and other honored guests. The event will also commemorate the 100th anniversary of North Central Missouri College, marking a historic milestone for both the campus and the community. The public is warmly invited to attend.
“We cannot thank our donors enough for their support of the Transforming Lives, Empowering People campaign, which made the Nuttall Student Center possible,” said Alicia Endicott, NCMC Foundation Executive Director. “Final work is being completed on the building, and we cannot wait for our students, campus community, and the public to see it.”
“The Nuttall Student Center represents both our college’s remarkable past and its bright future,” said Dr. Lenny Klaver, NCMC President. “It will serve as a central hub for students to gather, learn, and engage, truly reflecting our mission to transform lives through accessible, high-quality education. We are deeply grateful to all who made this vision a reality.”
The Nuttall Student Center includes the Bert & Rose Hoover Campus Store, the BTC Bank Meeting Room, the Farmers State Bank Reception Area, and the Tye Family Student Senate Room. Campus dining services will also be located in the Nuttall Student Center and are scheduled to begin operations at the start of the Spring 2026 semester. A student lounge and micro-market on the lower level will provide additional spaces for students to gather, relax, and connect.
During the Grand Opening celebration, the Hoover Campus Store will officially launch with a full lineup of Pirates apparel available for purchase. Every customer will have the opportunity to draw for a prize at checkout, unlocking a free gift of NCMC swag, goodies, or surprise treats with their purchase.
