Trenton Choirs holds First Fall Concert

All of Trenton’s Choirs’ gathered to sing together

The sound of singing filled the High School Performing Arts Center Thursday as Trenton’s choirs performed for the first time this fall.
The event showcased the talent and dedication of students from both the middle and high school programs.
The evening began with the Middle School Choir, who performed lively renditions of “Tuimbe” by David Waggoner, “Sing Ev’ry Morning and Noon and Night” by Russell Robinson, and “Just Sing” by Mark Brymer.
Following them, the high school’s concert choir took the stage, performing “Bonse Aba” arranged by Andrew Fischer, “How Can I Keep from Singing” by Gwyneth Walker, and “Come to Me, O My Love” by Allan Robert Petker.
The treble singers continued the concert with “I Sing Because I’m Happy” arranged by Kenneth Paden, “Lineage” by Andrea Ramsey, and “Over My Head” arranged by Adam & Matt Podd.
Gold rush, performed “Modimo” arranged by Michael Barrett, “Sing Gently” by Eric Whitacre, and “Viva la Musica” by David Brunner.
For the finale, all choirs joined together for memorable performances of “Sing to Me” by Andrea Ramsey and “I Will Sing” by Michael Engelhardt
The event showcased the musical accomplishments of Trenton’s students, and the work that the group has put into their craft.
