On Tuesday, the Missouri Retired Teachers Association met at First Baptist Church in Trenton to discuss important topics such as legislation that would effect public school funding and pensions for retired teachers. The meeting went from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there were teachers from across the region in attendance.

Representing Grundy/Mercer County was Larry Dannar, Marsha Hurst, Marjorie Keuhn, Pam Johnston, Barb Spencer, Theresa Hunsaker, Lyn Griffin, Fred Arthaud, Ruth Ann Shipps, Bev Bosley, Becky Cochran, Marie Dolan and Sam Smith.
