Wednesday morning, students gathered across Trenton to pray for their schools, communities, nation, and each other.

Trenton R-9 and Pleasant View in particular had large gatherings of students, with 105 students from the High and Middle School meeting at Trenton, and 97 students at Pleasant View. Rissler and the college’s Baptist Student Union also met at this time.

Coach Guthrie, the sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the Middle and High School, remarked at how the organization has grown at Trenton, “The first few years we did this, we only had 10-15 kids, but in the last year or two it’s grown to over a hundred, this is really just a great opportunity for the community to come together and praise God.”
