Ashtyn Wilson, Nursing Instructor, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for November. Ashtyn is from Maryville, MO, and has worked at NCMC for eight years. Ashtyn holds a bachelor’s in nursing from Missouri Western and a master’s in nursing from Western Governors University.

Ashtyn describes her job as “rewarding, fun, and challenging.” When asked about her favorite thing about NCMC, Ashtyn said,

“I love the smaller class sizes and that I get to know my students.” One of Ashtyn’s goals is to achieve 100% completion in her nursing cohort, and she sees her department advancing by increasing technology use through simulations.

When not at work, Ashtyn spends time with her husband and three boys. She also enjoys running, spending time outdoors, cooking, traveling, and going to the gym.

Each month, nominations are submitted by faculty/staff members for an outstanding employee they feel is hardworking and dedicated, and has made NCMC overall a great place. To learn more about North Central Missouri College’s employment opportunities, visit www.ncmissouri.edu/jobs.
