The Spickard R-2 School District will accept declarations of candidacy from any person interested in running for a position on the School Board in the April 7, 2026 Municipal Election.

There are (2) three-year positions available.

Filing will begin on December 9, 2025 at 8 a.m. and will continue during the district’s regular business hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Filing will not occur on days that the school district office is closed due to inclement weather or sickness. Filing will also not occur on the following days when the school district office is closed: December 23, 2025 through December 29, 2025. The last day of candidate filing is December 30, when the school district office will open at 4 p.m. and filing will end at 5 p.m.
