Local heroes received recognition at Tractor Supply’s “Hometown Hero’s Day,” an event dedicated to celebrating those who serve and protect the Trenton community. The event brought together local law enforcement, firefighters, veterans, and emergency medical staff for a day of appreciation, education, and fun.
As part of the festivities, Tractor Supply made generous donations totaling $750 to the Trenton Police and Fire Departments, the local VFW, and the Ambulance Department.
Representatives from each organization set up tables to interact with the public. The Fire Department demonstrated fire safety with a hands-on extinguisher simulation. The Police Department offered advice on avoiding scams—a growing concern in the community—while the Ambulance Department distributed coloring books to help children learn about their vital work.
Adding to the day’s excitement, Tractor Supply hosted a Chili Cook-Off, inviting community members to showcase their culinary talents in a friendly competition.
The event highlighted the strong spirit of community in Trenton and honored those who work tirelessly to keep our town safe.
