NCMC Students Compete at National PAS Conference

North Central Missouri College sent eight agriculture students to the National Professional Agriculture Student Organization Conference held March 9-12 in Branson, where more than 600 students took part in career program competitions, leadership workshops and group activities.
Students attending from NCMC were Aubrey Schreckhise of Meadville, Ashlee Olson of Meadville, Crista Perry of Salisbury, Harlee Beck of Chillicothe, Ayra Meeker of Trenton, Cheri Basham of Cowgill, Collin Kinsella of Elmo and Jude Lentz of Humphreys. They were accompanied by NCMC Agriculture and Natural Resources Instructor Kurt Meighen.
Students earning recognition in individual Career Program Areas were Harlee Beck, third place in Career Planning – Animal Systems, and Crista Perry, second place in Career Planning – Agribusiness Systems.
The National PAS Organization was founded in 1980 in Kansas City. Its mission is to provide opportunities for individual growth, leadership and career preparation. North Central Missouri College is a charter member of both the Missouri and National PAS organizations.
