Submitted

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri, Inc. opened Scholar-Link, an online scholarship application system.

Scholar-Link officially opened Jan. 15 and is available to graduating high school seniors and current college students seeking scholarships for use at a two-year or four-year college or university, as well as vocational or technical schools.

The Community Foundation currently administers 92 scholarship funds benefiting students in 18 counties across Northwest Missouri and beyond.

Students interested in applying can visit cfnwmo.org and click on the Scholar-Link logo. The application deadline is March 2.

Additional information is available through high school counselors, or by contacting the Community Foundation at 816-232-2022 or info@cfnwmo.org

Foundation officials also note that establishing a scholarship fund is an opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, or organizations to give back to their community and local schools. Scholarship funds may be created in honor or memory of a loved one or in the name of a company or business.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri provides full administration of scholarship funds, handling all details and easing the burden on donors.
