Trenton High School students are preparing for one of the winter semester’s most anticipated traditions as the 2026 Courtwarming candidates and attendants have been announced.

This year’s senior Courtwarming queen candidates are Tabby Jones, Mylee Baker and Olivia Tabbert, while senior king candidates include Zach Dysart and Garrison Otto. The selected students represent their classes as part of a long-standing THS tradition that celebrates school spirit and student involvement.

Joining the senior candidates on the Courtwarming court are attendants from each underclass. Junior attendants are Shaina Frisbie and James Bethards. Representing the sophomore class are Timberlon Hignutt and Jackson Lewis, while Raylan Sharp and Jax Simpson will serve as freshman attendants.

Courtwarming festivities will begin with the THS Courtwarming Dance, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, in the Trenton High School gym. The dance will run from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and is open to high school students.

The celebration will conclude with the Courtwarming Coronation on Monday, Feb. 3. The coronation ceremony will be held in the THS gym between the varsity girls and boys basketball games, when the 2026 Courtwarming King and Queen will be crowned.

Courtwarming remains a cherished tradition at Trenton High School, bringing students together to celebrate winter activities, school pride and community spirit.
