Cameron Regional Medical Center Awards 5 Nursing Students Scholarships

The Cameron Regional Medical Center Board of Directors recently voted to award five $1,000 scholarships to North Central Missouri College nursing students through the NCMC Foundation. This scholarship program, originally started in 2014, is awarded to sophomores in their second year of study in an NCMC’s nursing or health sciences program, with strong academic accomplishments and preference given to residents of Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb or Harrison counties.

Founded in 1947, Cameron Regional Medical Center has stood as a beacon of healthcare excellence, dedicated to serving Cameron, Missouri, and rural northwest Missouri. As a 503(c) non-profit organization, CRMC operates with a fundamental commitment to their community’s health and well-being. CRMC’s mission is “Large Enough to Heal; Small Enough to Care.”

The Cameron Regional Medical Center Board of Directors voted to award five $1,000 scholarships to North Central Missouri College nursing students. Scholarships awarded to sophomores in an NCMC’s nursing or health sciences program who have strong academic accomplishments. Preference is given to residents of Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb or Harrison counties.

This year’s CRMC scholarship recipients are Emma England – Clinton County (Trenton ADN), Aaron Holt – Harrison County (Online ADN), Paige Lang- Daviess County (Trenton ADN), Kaitlyn Morgan – Clinton County (Online ADN), Lena Phillips- Daviess County (Trenton ADN).

“The nursing and health sciences students at NCMC are extremely fortunate to have the continued partnership and support from CRMC,” commented Scholarship Coordinator Kristi Varner. “The NCMC Foundation thanks CRMC for their loyalty and support of NCMC students.” All NCMC Foundation Nursing and Health Sciences Scholarship recipients are to be full-time students or enrolled in all available hours and encouraged to submit a thank you letter to be provided to the scholarship donor.
