The Green Hills Mom Co group brought community spirit to the Missouri Day Festival with their annual Baby Show fundraiser, held this past weekend in Trenton.

Coordinated by Heidi Rice, the event drew parents and their little ones from across the area for a fun-filled evening celebrating families and raising support for local moms.

“It was really fun,” Rice said. “I always enjoy every mom and dad bringing out their kiddos and sharing them with us. It’s always fun to see the kids just really perk up or completely shy away from the microphone.”

The event serves as a fundraiser for the Green Hills Mom Co group, which provides free child care during its regular meetups throughout the school year.

“We meet twice, three times a month, technically, during the school year,” she said. “We’ve got evening meetings and morning meetings. It’s open to moms of all ages, kids of all stages.”
