North Central Missouri College has partnered with Bright Futures Trenton as a Classroom Community Partner. Dr. Lindsay Oram’s Human Growth and Development class visited Ms. Crawford’s first-grade classroom at Rissler Elementary to participate in various fall-themed developmental activities.

Lindsay Oram, Psychology Instructor and said, “My students were able to see our course material come to life. It’s one thing to learn about 6-year-old development in a textbook, but it’s another to watch in real-time.” Grayson Oram, a Rissler first-grade student, said, “I didn’t like the activities, I LOVED the activities.”

North Central Missouri College will continue to be a Bright Futures Trenton Classroom Community Partner, collaborating with various student groups and engaging in interactions for the remainder of the school year. NCMC would like to thank Bright Futures Trenton, Rissler Elementary, and Ms. Crawford for the opportunity to partner and provide hands-on learning for our students.
