Noel Staddie, early childhood development instructor at North Central Missouri College, was named NCMC’s April Outstanding Employee.

North Central Missouri College has recognized Noel Staddie, early childhood development instructor, as its April Outstanding Employee.

Staddie, of Laclede, holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in child development. She has been a member of the NCMC team for 10 years.

When asked to describe her role, Staddie called it “personal, challenging and imperative.”

Staddie said her favorite part of NCMC is the Student Center.

“Eating with coworkers and students has changed the whole campus atmosphere,” she said.

During her time at NCMC, Staddie has been involved in the SAIL program, helping welcome and support students with neuro-diversities as they transition to the NCMC campus and its programs.

Looking ahead, Staddie hopes to establish a Child Development Center that would serve both the NCMC campus and the Trenton community. She said she would like to see her department continue to grow and expand opportunities for hands-on learning through the development of a child development center.

Outside of work, Staddie enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandson.

Each month, NCMC faculty and staff nominate employees who demonstrate hard work and dedication and help make NCMC an exceptional place to work.
