The Trenton Community Betterment Corporation has received a $2,000 grant from the MFA Foundation to help fund restoration of the World War I Memorial in Moberly Park.
The organization recently was notified that its grant application had been selected for funding by the foundation.
A check presentation was held today at the Trenton MFA office.
Those participating in the presentation were MFA representatives Colby Olmstead and Dustin Cox, along with Trenton Community Betterment Corporation officers Chris Hoffman, treasurer; Diane Lowrey, secretary; and Jackie Soptic, vice president. President Wendell Lenhart was not pictured.
The funding will assist with efforts to restore the WWI Memorial, a historic feature in Moberly Park.
