Community members are invited to stop by the BTC Meeting Room at the North Central Missouri College Student Center on Thursday, April 29, to celebrate Bright Futures volunteers and learn more about the organization’s ongoing initiatives.

The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., with guests welcome to attend at any time during those hours. Organizers said the gathering is intended as both a celebration of volunteers and an opportunity for the public to learn more about the work Bright Futures is doing in the community.

Refreshments will be served during the event, giving attendees a chance to visit with volunteers and supporters in an informal setting.

In addition to recognizing volunteers, Bright Futures will also be accepting donations of gently used gym shoes and Bulldog apparel during the celebration. Those items will help support the group’s efforts and provide another way for community members to get involved.

Residents are encouraged to drop in, show appreciation for local volunteers and learn more about how Bright Futures continues to serve students and families.
