The Daughters of The American Revolution Invite Public to April Meeting

The Dorcas Richardson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Monday, April 6, at the Historic Jewett Norris Library in the Evelyn Sheets Genealogy Room.
The highlight of the meeting will be a program by Library Director Sarah Shoberg at 1:30 p.m. about genealogy resources available at the library. The public is invited to attend the program.
DAR members will also be available to provide information about the organization to interested individuals.
DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, volunteer women’s service organization that promotes patriotism, education, historic preservation and community service. Women 18 and older who can prove lineal descent from an ancestor who aided in American independence are eligible for membership.
