The Gallatin Theater League is preparing to welcome audiences to its upcoming production of Disaster! The Musical later this month at the Courter Theatre.

Performances are scheduled for March 19, 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at Grand Nutrition, online at www.gallatintheaterleague.com

, or at the door beginning at 6 p.m. on the nights of the show.

“Disaster!” is a jukebox-style comedy that parodies popular 1970s disaster films such as The Poseidon Adventure, Jaws, Earthquake and The Towering Inferno. The musical features well-known songs from the 1970s, including hits like “Hot Stuff.” The show originally premiered on Broadway in March 2016.

The Gallatin Theater League’s production promises an energetic performance filled with humor, music and larger-than-life moments. Known for its campy style and over-the-top comedy, the show blends classic songs with a playful tribute to the disaster movie genre.

Cast and crew members say they are excited to bring the production to the Courter Theatre stage and are looking forward to entertaining audiences from across the region.

“We are looking forward to entertaining our friends, families and fans,” organizers said.
