Wright Memorial Hospital recently announced its 2025 Employee of the Year. Emily Jones, a mammography technologist at Wright Memorial Hospital, was presented with the award at a ceremony held in her honor on Feb. 23. The other finalists for the award were 2025 Employee of the Quarter recipients Halley Windsor, Misty Houghton and Gloria Coffman.

In her nomination form, Jones’ coworkers praised her kindness to patients and coworkers.

“Emily goes above and beyond for her patients. She is very respectful and sensitive to their needs. She extends kindness and patience to her coworkers as well. Emily is quick to offer help to her team members on top of her own busy schedule,” coworkers said.

Jones enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a board member and volunteer at the Green Hills Animal Shelter. Over the past 20 years, Jones and her husband have adopted rescue dogs and cats.

She enjoys coffee shops, thrift stores, greenhouses, growing flowers and photographing insects. She also spends time on their small farm west of Brimson, Mo., where she hunts mushrooms, picks blackberries and relaxes outdoors.
