The Grundy County Industrial Development Corporation and the Grundy County Industrial Authority will hold their annual meetings on Monday, Jan. 26 at the Grundy Electric Cooperative meeting room. The IDC will meet at 5:30 pm, with the IDA meeting to follow.

The IDC will be electing five members to its board during the annual meeting. Those being nominated for re-election are Delvin Wilford, Dr. Paul Cox, Jackie Soptic and Scott Wilson. Megan Taul is being nominated as the fifth new board member, replacing Diane Lowrey, who is retiring from the board. All terms are for three years.

Following the IDC annual meeting, the IDC board will meet to elect officers and appoint a new board member to replace Brent Wyant, who has moved from the area. There will also be a report on land in the industrial park still owned by the IDC.

During the IDA meeting, three persons will be nominated to the board for final approval by the Grundy County Commission, which approves all IDA board members. Those with terms expiring are Scott Wilson, Brent Wyant and Paul Cox. The IDA terms are for six years.
