This year, the Grand River Garden Club concluded its award season by recognizing two Trenton residences for their creative and unusual approaches to yard displays.
The first award went to a residence featuring a striking bed of cacti, a rare sight in local gardens. This bold choice brought a touch of southwestern flair with plants not typically seen in Trenton.
The second award honored a home where ingenuity turned a simple tree stump into a pedestal for a vibrant flower display. This cool idea not only made use of existing landscape features but also highlighted the homeowner’s eye for beauty in unexpected places.
