The Gallatin Theater League is set to perform for local audiences with its fall production, “Moriarty: A New Sherlock Holmes Adventure.” This fast-paced play promises a blend of danger, humor, and intrigue as Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, and Irene Adler race to thwart the notorious Professor Moriarty and his criminal network.
The story begins with an investigation into the Bohemian king’s stolen letters, quickly escalating into a comedic international mystery that threatens world peace.
Holmes will be portrayed by Phil Barnard, with Doug Nichols as Dr. Watson and Annie Gibson taking on the role of Irene Adler. The talented cast of eight actors brings the action to life by playing multiple roles, ensuring a dynamic and entertaining experience for the audience.
Adding to the excitement, the production is directed by Trenton native Jeremy Hudson, who makes his solo directorial debut with this show.
Performances will be held at the Courter Theatre in Gallatin on November 20, 21, and 22 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $15 in person at Grand Nutrition in Gallatin or $17 online at gallatintheaterleague.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door one hour before each show.
