Downtown Christmas Celebration and Parade Itinerary

The annual downtown Trenton Christmas event is held the first  Friday in December.

11:00 am–7:00 pm: Hodge Cookie Sale at 1013 Main “The Space” (also location of Gingerbread House Contest)

4:30 pm–7:30 pm: Soup Supper at North Grand River Bookstore hosted by the MOPS Group

5:00 pm–7:00 pm: Hot Chocolate served by Preceptor Nu in front of Howard’s Dept Store

5:00 pm–7:30 pm: Grundy County Museum open (Theme: “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”)

5:00 pm–7:30 pm: Carriage Rides in the Downtown Area by David Kurtz

5:10 pm: Line up for the Parade at Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri/Senior Center

5:30 pm: Parade begins

5:45 pm: Dog Parade begins at the Jewett Norris Library (proceeds down Main Street to 9th; dressing up dogs not mandatory)

6:00 pm: Parade arrives in the downtown area

6:00 pm–7:00 pm: Santa in the Gazebo handing out treat bags

6:20 pm: Announcement at Five Points Flagpole of Gingerbread Contest winners

6:20 pm: THS Band, Drum line & Colorguard performs on the grassy area just east of Farmhouse Table
