The annual Missouri Day Baby Show, part of Missouri Festival Day held this past weekend, featured nearly two dozen contestants competing in a variety of age categories in Trenton. Participants were judged in divisions ranging from infants to preschool-age. Awards were presented for first, second and third place along with special recognitions.

In 3-6 month boys, First Place – Maverick Wilson, 4 months, son of Brianna & John Jones of Chillicothe; and Second Place – Braxton Baldwin, 6 months, son of Abigule Smith of Laredo, MO.

In 3-6 Months Girls, First Place went to Delaney Kaufman, 3 months, daughter of Chester & Shaylee Kaufman of Jamesport.

In the 6-12 month girls category, First Place was a tie for twins Jazlynn Faith & Izabella Skye Newlon, 7 months, daughters of Matthew & Chelsea Newlon of Trenton.

In 2-3 year boys, First Place – Carter Conwell, 3, son of Alyssa Conwell of Trenton, MO; Second Place – Conner Conwell, 2, son of Alyssa Conwell of Trenton; and Third Place (not pictured) – Jason Perkins, 3, son of Brandon & Shelby Perkins of Trenton.

In 2-3 year girls, First Place – Gabriella Knapp, 2, daughter of Jacoby & Baily Knapp of Eagleville; Second Place – Charlotte Huffman, 3, daughter of Jessica & Thomas Huffman of Chillicothe; and Third Place – Josie Whitney, 3, daughter of LeAnna & Trevor Whitney of Trenton. Best Outfit went to Kinzley King, 3, daughter of Jarren & Kaylynn King of Trenton; and Miss Personality  awarded to Wynlee Walker, 3, daughter of Chad & Jaylee Walker of Gallatin. Crowned in 4-5 year boys, First Place – Barrett Houck, 4, son of Kelly & Chris Houck of Trenton, MO; and Second Place – Hephaestus Jones, 4, son of Brianna & John Jones of Chillicothe.
