Nathan Stark Selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Student

Nathan Stark from Trenton, MO, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Student for September. Nathan, a Missouri A scholarship student, is pursuing an Associate in Arts in Teaching and an Associate in Science degree and plans to graduate in May 2026. After graduating from NCMC, Nathan plans to continue his education to earn a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, with the goal of becoming a teacher.

At NCMC, Nathan is involved in SMSTA and is a tutor at the Tutoring Center. Nathan is also a volunteer at Shelbourn Baptist Church. Nathan said, “My favorite thing about NCMC is the faculty. They are all willing to help if you ask questions and will respond with helpful feedback. They are willing to work with you on scheduling and want you to succeed.” Nathan’s favorite class is Teaching Professions with Instructor Cassie Cordray. Nathan said, “I enjoy the group discussion, and the topics are interesting.”

Nathan went on to say, “I chose NCMC because it is a good transition into college. I liked the campus when I toured, and being close to home made it a really good option. I like that it is affordable, and I can use my A .”

Each month, a student is nominated by a faculty or staff member to be featured as an Outstanding Student based on their dedication to educational success, attitude toward learning, and hard work in their field and activities.
