Grundy County Museum Annual Exhibit Ends in October

By Julie Hill Lehr

It isn’t too late for community members to see the annual Trenton Notables exhibit at the Grundy County Museum. Each year, Board approved Grundy County residents are chosen for the exhibit.

The current exhibit recognizes individuals who have a connection to North Central Missouri College (NCMC) as it is celebrating its 100th anniversary beginning this month.

This years’ notables are Nanette Carter, Lynn Freeman, Patsy Hill, Maude Ryan, O.G. Sanford and Dr. Vicki Wheeler. The exhibit features a biography of the recipient, relevant photos and artifacts.

The Grundy County Museum, 1100 Mabel St., Trenton, is open weekends from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. through the third Sunday in October. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
